I am not terribly courageous as some people believe. I’m far from being invincible, far from being as unaffected or indifferent as I would ideally like to be. I just do whatever I have to do - if its the right thing to be done at the time. As uncomfortable or risky it may be, it’s in me to feel the need to do something about it.
Perhaps I may get burnt, or risk opening a whole new can of worms, but ultimately, what matters is getting it done. The only thing that matters after the deed is done is to simply engage in damage control - damage control that’s within my court to accomplish. Anything else outside that arena therefore ceases to be within my hands, and instead, lies in the hands of fate to roll the dice.
What can I do? Nothing. I am only human.
